The district is planning a new elementary school for the eastern area as a replacement for Old Mill Elementary School. Cate Noble Ward of Studio Kremer Architects reported the district is getting a quality facility for a good investment. The new 800 student elementary school was awarded to Redlee Construction and Development, Inc. in the amount of $19,336,000.
